April @ MGW - MAKE GREAT WINE

Hello Friends! Welcome to April. I sure am enjoying the longer days. How about you? We have had lots of talk at the shop about the up coming Solar Eclipse! I hope it is a clear day so we can get a good view of it. (with proper eye wear of course!) We are starting to Welcome many of you home from the sunny south, It has been nice to see you and hear about your winter. We have a few new wines to talk about this month,

Our Twisted Mist fruit wines; Bahama Mama and Strawberry Bellini These are fantastic summer wines! They are more like a cocktail then a wine. Serve them over ice at your next BBQ! These Twisted Mist wines are available while supplies last. $137

We still have a few Reserve Pinot Noir Rosé left, Joann and I both made this one and oh my gosh it is SO yummy. Such a great wine to have for those summer nights, it is darker then expected. It is not a pink rosé color it is more red. However the flavors do not disappoint. Lots of fresh strawberry and a hint of rhubarb. It has a soft sweetness but not too much. Grab one before they are all gone! This one is a one time buy they are not making it again. $206 $6.86 a bottle!

We are excited to announce another PINK wine for the month of May, this one is a yearly return. Every Spring Winexpert comes out with a PINK MOSACTO, it is a huge hit and everyone who has made it loves it! Fragrant summer berry aromas with juicy strawberry, tart cherry, a hint of citrus on the palate. Bright, lively, and balanced with the perfect touch of sweetness.

The LAST Limited Edition wine is NOW available. We are going to bring in a few extra of this one because I know it will be a BIG hit. Australian Tempranillo Shiraz! I have been a huge fan of tempranillo and am excited about this blend. This wine does come with grape skins so expect higher tannins and more body with this one. You will need to age this wine at least 6 months if not more to get the full flavors of it. $240 a bottle of tempranillo at the LCBO is $18.95 make one with us for $8.00 a bottle 😉

I apologize if anyone stopped by the shop or called on Tuesday April 2nd, I ended up coming down with the stomach bug and had to close for the day. It is making its rounds threw the house because now my little guy has it. A big Thank you To Joann for holding down the shop while I am home taking care of my babies.
